Mocality, Africa’s largest mobile and web based business directory, has launched a new application called the “Nigeria Business Directory”. Speaking at the launch of the application, Tim Harper, Mocality’s Head of Product, said that the “Find near me” feature would help users discover new businesses and services in any location in which they find themselves. The application is exclusively built for the Android Operating System and can be downloaded for free via Google Play.
Below are some of the apps’ key features:
• Find ‘near me’ (shows users businesses closest to them);
• Refines search results by location or category, and
• Provides details of businesses (e.g contact) as well as products and services.
The Mocality App is currently available for users in Nigeria and Kenya, and has over 470,000 businesses listed across the two countries.
