Mary J. Blige Hit With $3.4 Million Tax Lien

The IRS has filed a $3.4 million tax lien against Mary J. Blige.
Mary J. Blige may find herself in the same boat as Lauryn Hill if she doesn't start paying off taxes real soon. The singer already owes an amount of $900,000 to the state of New Jersey, but now she's been hit with a whopping $3.4 million tax lien from the IRS.

TMZ reports that the IRS filed the tax lien against Ms. Blige, because she failed to pay her taxes for the years 2009 ($574,907.30), 2010 ($2,203,743.53) and 2011 ($647,604.60).
The grand total of all those years is $3,426,255.43. This isn't Mary Blige's only financial problem at the moment, apart from her tax lien for New Jersey, her charity was also hit with two lawsuits over the past year, and defaulted on a $25,000 loan.
