This Native Doctor Got Lost For Three Years And Returned With Healing Powers

Alphonsus Agborh writes on the Odozie Ani of Ubulu Uku Delta State, who, at the age of six, got lost in the forest and was  fed by monkeys for three years. Thereafter, he came out with the wisdom of Solomon to settle disputes and entrench peace in Nigeria, Europe and India as well as the ability to heal all manner of sicknesses.
For trado-medicine practitioner, High Chief Okafor Enujoko, the Odozie-Ani of Ubulu Unor in Aniocha South of Delta State, his mission on earth is not only to heal the sick, but to bring peace to the people through  the  unfiltered adjudication of cases brought  before him as a Justice of the Peace (JP).
A man with over 25 titles from different communities in Nigeria, there is no title so apt like Odozie Ani (which literally means ‘repairer of the land’) which nature has conferred on him to radiate joy to those in search of it.
Like the biblical folks at the Pool of Bethesda with all kinds of diseases where Jesus healed the man with a prolonged infirmity, the residence of Odozi Ani in Ogwashi-Uku, is always filled with people who seek to resolve knotty issues.
Marital problems, land cases, cheating and lying, breach in agreement, and many more issues are resolved on a daily basis.
As chairman of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in the local government, the well-travelled traditional doctor has assisted the police by bringing wisdom to bear in handling cases in the community through fairness, justice and equity in decision making.
Who then is Chief  Enujoko? Born on March 8, 1950, something incredible happened to him at the age of six years  when he went into the forest and missed   his direction.
Swallowed up in the thick forest, his parents and community made all attempts to find him all to no avail.
According to him, for three years, monkeys were the ones feeding him with fruits.
“These mokeys will come and touch me; they would point at something and bring  fruits and for three years, the apes were feeding me; they also showed me many things,” he noted.
Three years after, the monkeys sent  him off and warned him that in using the powers given to him to save mankind, he should  not take bribe and that  if he did, the powers will disappear.
That explained the reason Odozie Ani does not charge his patients a dime to exert justice or heal. Whether in India, London or Rome, the story is the same.
He does not demand any money or gratification, yet people appreciate him in many ways. People, who are relieved of their burdens through his spiritual power by way of being healed or counselled never withhold their hands from him. They show him appreciation in cash and kind.
The herbalist emphasised that miracle is real, recalling that in 1963, a dead woman rose up before the eyes of many peple who were in his clinic.
“They  brought the woman, a patient, from Kwale and she was dead. I said to myself, this patient will come back to life by the power of God. “I only pointed my hand at her and fire came out and the woman came back to life.
“Since that time, visible and invisible things have been happening, all to the glory of God,” he reminisced.
To heal people of their ailments,  the man goes into the bush and whatever herb the spirits ask him to pick is what he uses to cure such  sicknesses.
Blessed with 59 children, Odozie Ani attested to the wonderful works  God has been using him to do such as restoring sight, making the dumb to speak and many others without charging a penny.
In settling people’s problems, the Odozie Ani made bold to say that anyone who goes contrary to his pronouncement on an issue would have himself to blame.
At a time when his good deeds were making antagonists to call for his head by fabricating lies against him, after each  investigation by security operatives, he was given a clean bill of health.
Enujoko believes that victims of criminal activities may have duped or offended people in one way or the other in the past, noting that what a man sows he reaps.
Having come  a long way Odozie Ani had received several recognitions from authorities in Europe, India and Nigeria.
