Only an Ingrate Like El-Rufai Would Bite The Hand That Fed Him

The controversy thrown up by the "nonsensical book" written by controversial former Minister of the FCT, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai is still raging, as reactions continue to pour in.

As expected, Olufamous.com gathered that many of those loyal to former President Olusegun Obasasanjo have taken serious exceptions to the contents of the book over what a source described as "a desperate attempt by El-Rufai to destroy Obasanjo and get cheap popularity in the opposition."

Warning el-Rufai to change his ways, one of those who reacted to the book quoted Proverbs 17:13, which says - "If you repay good with evil, evil will never leave your house."

He said as a politician it is allowed for you to "disagree and criticize from time to time," but you should never attempt to "destroy your benefactor." He said, "No one has ever painted Obasanjo in such a bad light."

Speaking on why most Obasanjo's boys were absent at the book launch, another source said: "We were not at the programme because we disagree with some nonsensical things Nasir (el-Rufai) wrote...we ignored his invitation as a solidarity with President Obasanjo whom we all have a tremendous respect for.

"We wish Nasir best of luck in his political adventure. But we strongly believed it is only an ingrate that bite the hand that fed him."
