PHCN Workers Expose Minister Of Power, Bath Nnaji

The minister of power, Prof Bath Nnaji is busy telling whoever cares to listen that PHCN workers are agents of generator importers and are thus frustrating genuine efforts of government to introduce critical reforms that will improve the power sector.

But workers of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria have a different position on the lingering crisis between them, the Minister and the Ministry of Power.

While reacting to the minister's allegation, Chairman of the National Union of Electricity Employees, Abuja chapter, Comrade Wisdom Nwachukwu, said Prof Nnaji is after them because they didn't support his bid to corner some power sector bid to his company.

Reiterating the workers stand to fight for their rights, Comrade Nwachukwu said: “The minister is not happy with Manitoba having the bid; he would have preferred his own company to win”.
