It's very unfortunate to hear that explosives were successfully planted on the premises of Bayero University in Kano barely two weeks after the institution came under Boko Haram attack.
A police source revealed that the bombs were found hidden at the faculty of law and faculty of sciences respectively earlier ton Tuesday by university security personnel.
The source also revealed that this would be the fourth time locally made bombs concealed to create maximum casualty is found in the city of Kano. Police spokesperson in the state, ASP Musa Majia, disclosed that the bombs have been defused by the special anti-bomb squad of the state's police command.
