MY COLLEAGUES BETRAYED ME –Farouk Lawan

Suspended Chairman of the House of Reps probe committee on the fuel subsidy scam, Farouk Lawan, has finally broke his silence. On Monday he returned to the Force Headquarters where he insisted that he handed over the $620,000 bribe money to Hon. Adams Jagaba, House Committee Chairman on Narcotics and Financial Crimes.

Olufamous.com gathered that Farouk could still not provide the complete money he collected from Mr. Femi Otedola to the detectives investigating the $620,000 bribery allegation against him.

Sources said he pleaded for more time to enable him return the money, saying his colleagues in the House of Reps, particularly Hon. Jagaba, had betrayed him by denying knowledge of the bribe money.

He assured police detectives that he is working hard to gather the complete money together and return it to the police as requested.

Also, Olufamous.com gathered that the total money with Farouk is actually $620,000, and not $500,000 as Boniface Emenalo was said to have handed over the $120,000 he collected from Mr. Otedola to Farouk immediately he returned.
