The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday received a bill from President Goodluck Jonathan seeking to officially change the name of the University of Lagos to Moshood Abiola University as well as two other Federal Universities.
The two other institutions are Federal University of Technology, Umudike, which is to be changed to Michael Okpara University and the Federal University of Technology, Yola, to be changed to Modibbo Adama University.
