Khloe Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom was arrested early Friday morning, Aug. 30.
The
235 lbs., 6'10" NBA pro was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley
around 3:54 a.m. by the California Highway Patrol, and was released from
a Van Nuys jail on $15,000 bail around 8:30 a.m. Pacific. According to
police, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was taken into
custody for allegedly driving under the influence, and was pulled over
for driving on the 101 Freeway in a "serpentine manner," weaving all
over the place in and out of lanes while going 50 mph in a 65-mile zone.
He was driving a Mercedes SUV.
Police say Odom was unable to perform a field
sobriety test and refused any chemical testing. Even if he's found not
guilty on the DUI allegation, he will still lose his license for one
year. He is expected in court on Sept. 27, 2013.
This
news comes after numerous claims that Odom, 33, and his wife Khloe, 29,
are having marital problems, and that the athlete is reportedly
struggling with drug use.
